I offer a range of services to aid clients to make the kinds of changes that they want in their lives, including hypnosis, NLP (neuro linguistic programming) and time line therapy.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a tool to bring about a state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness. In doing so, it empowers us by giving us the time and resources we need to resolve the issues that we have in our lives, away from conscious barriers. Used constructively and proactively by the client and the hypnotist, hypnosis can help us to let go of limiting beliefs, release our creativity and to focus on what it is that we want from life. Being in a hypnotic trance is essentially the same as experiencing a guided meditation. Throughout hypnotic trance, the client is in total control, the hypnotist simply guides the client through an overall process of recognition, appraisal and transformation.

What is NLP?

NLP is a series of techniques which have been developed, and collected in one place, to help people to work through their limitations, challenge their own perceptions and views of the world. It’s also an attitude, one of willingness to look deeper into ourselves and into how we perceive ourselves and others, and into how we interact with others. In doing so, we can see very clearly what it is which impacts on our experiences within our lives, and thus to make wonderful changes where we want to. A common phrase that I hear as a description of what we can get out of using NLP techniques is “It’s like the fog has lifted”. It’s another tool to use to enable us to manifest the kinds of changes that we want in our lives, and hinges on taking responsibility (in an empowering way) for where we are and where we want to be.

What is time line therapy?

Time line therapy works using our unconscious mechanism of memory organisation, which we for the most part perceive as a “time line”. Using this perceptual metaphor for time, we can metaphorically float above our past and let go of things which hold us back. This does not mean forgetting, simply and easily letting go of the negative emotions which have a negative impact on our present state. Have you ever had an experience which you have clung onto for dear life, and in clinging onto the emotions (often negative) of this past experience you missed out on something amazing? We sometimes also have a belief which does not serve us (e.g. feeling that we are not good enough), which time line therapy can help us to let go of. Time line therapy is also great for goal setting, we can perceptually and metaphorically travel out above our future, set ourselves compelling goals and thus set the scene for our unconscious to work towards attaining this goal.

Anything that you perceive as an issue in your life that you want to resolve, and anything that you want to do better. My only condition is that you take responsibility for where you are, and for where you want to be, and that you accept that the only person who can change your life in the way that you want is yourself.
